Adult summary; children need separate weight-based specialist prescribing.

UK 40 mg/ml injection reference, not BMW approval. Kidney function, hearing and drug levels require monitoring because of nephrotoxicity and ototoxicity. Not interchangeable with inhaled tobramycin.

Treatment of selected serious bacterial infections when the organisms are susceptible.
Used for complicated urinary, respiratory, abdominal, skin or bone infections under specialist care.
