Adult reference summary; paediatric treatment requires an individually selected dose and suitable formulation.
Use according to susceptibility and local antibiotic policy. Significant or persistent diarrhoea needs urgent assessment because antibiotic-associated colitis can be serious. Swallow with water and avoid lying down immediately afterwards.
- Treatment of selected serious skin or soft-tissue infections caused by susceptible Gram-positive or anaerobic bacteria.
- Treatment of selected serious bone or joint infections caused by susceptible Gram-positive or anaerobic bacteria.
- Treatment of selected serious dental infections caused by susceptible Gram-positive or anaerobic bacteria.
